Sanssouci - Seasons

"I do not see the Sea this year. Unfortunately I can not go, but I miss it so much! The salty air, the wind, the waves! Sand between my toes, on my body, in my shoes (not so) The stuff you can find at the zone, where waves wash it up from the deep...The cry of a Seagull. Stranded Jellyfish (no, not really) You get it - all this atmosphere of the wide open seascape with a view to the horizon. A bleached wooden  hut right at the sands - a rocking chair, some  nautical deco....A warm blanket for the evenings, a cup of tea and a good book and the sunset....

So I dabbled around and came up with quite some motives which fit into this scene. I plan to make a Mystery MYSTERY !!! Sampler  from all these snippets, together with rich and sumptuous borders and frames, using the bleached colors of a sandy beach.
Just highlighted with a tad of red and navy --- colors of sand, sunfaded wood, shells, water....A 12-months Mystery SAL which will lead me (and the one or other of you ??) to the next vacation time, giving us excuse to dream and "taste" our favorite landscape ( or rather: one of all the favorite landscapes.. )"

Design Note:  In part 8 there are some sections of the border which look like they are filled in with a specialty stitch but parts 11 & 12 show they are actually all filled in with cross stitch.
